Glade Studio ("we", "us", "our") is a sole trader web design and automation business operated by Sivaaji (Shivan Muraleedaran), based in Australia. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling any personal information you share with us responsibly.
This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how it's used. We aim to handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), even where, as a small business, we may not be strictly required to.
What we collect
When you get in touch through this website — via the contact form or by emailing us directly — we collect the information you choose to give us, which typically includes:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Any project details or message content you include
We don't collect payment details, government IDs, or sensitive information through this website, and we don't use tracking cookies or analytics scripts on this site.
Why we collect it
We use this information for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if we start working together, to deliver the project — proposals, invoices, and project communication. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't send marketing emails unless you separately opt in to something like a newsletter.
How we store and share it
Enquiries and project details are stored in our email inbox and, once a project is underway, in ordinary project files. As a solo operator, the only person with access to your information is Sivaaji.
We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share it with a third party where that's necessary to run the business or deliver your project — for example, hosting providers, or automation tools (such as Make, Zapier, or n8n) if we build an automation for your business specifically. We'll always tell you if a project involves passing your data through a third-party tool.
Third-party services used to run this website
This site loads a small number of resources from third-party content delivery networks (CDNs) to render fonts, illustrations and animation — including jsDelivr and cdnjs. Like most websites, these providers may automatically log basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) as a normal part of serving those files. We don't control what these providers log, and no personal information you enter into the contact form is sent to them.
We don't currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar tracking or advertising cookies on this site. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, including keeping our email and project files access-controlled. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so any information you send us online is sent at your own risk.
Access and correction
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, at any time — just email shiv@gladestudio.com.au. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe, generally within one business week.
Complaints
If you believe we've mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at shiv@gladestudio.com.au so we can sort it out directly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the business grows — for example, if we add analytics or a new automation tool. The current version will always be available on this page, with the "last updated" date above kept current.
